Apparently the wack job who calls himself "freedom" in the letters to the editor reponses on News and Advance threatened Jr.'s life, and is in a little trouble.

I have seen Freedom on various N&A articles and you could tell he hated everything about LU. I would be laughing while reading his rants, I could imagine his BP going up. Could not have happened to a nicer guy.

OK Scratch that. It was there last night around 10pm, and now it appears to be gone. He wrote a Very long message on how the cops treated him bad and pointed their guns at him and took his comuter and he had to go buy a new one and all kinds of weird stuff. Then at the end he said it was all a joke and they were nothing but kind.

I read the feedback and basically all the townies have come out if force once again...Some people will always have a serious dislike for Jerry Falwell, his family. Liberty and TRBC and will probably carry that deep seated dislike (or hatred whichever you want to call it) to their dying day

For the record, "i" and "i'm" ARE first-person pronouns, NOT third person, so I would disagree with his last statement about stupidity.

I Googled his name and notice that he posts to quite a few news sources. One of them was regarding a story on mental illness, and Mills (aka Freedom) said some things that might make authorities view him as a potentially dangerous person. I wouldn't doubt if that hasn't been taken into account, considering the topic of the article- Why authorities should have taken Cho (VT shooter) more seriously. I understand that the city is being cautious over this matter. According to his posts, I didn't see any threat towards Jerry Jr. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I saw in the paper today where the same guy was arrested for stalking a N&A reporter this week.

A Lynchburg man charged with threatening the life of Jerry Falwell Jr. has been arrested again after sending threatening e-mails to a reporter for The News & Advance.

Berkley Carter Mills, 56, of the 600 block of Reusens Road, was charged Tuesday with stalking and making threats of death or bodily injury by letter...The reporter, Chris Dumond, who had requested that Mills stop e-mailing him, received an e-mail sent by Mills around 3 a.m. Tuesday. The e-mail included comments such as:

- “what do i have to do ,,elude to some possible -ability that you will be BOMB,,like twin towers”
- “thus i dang your exsistance or do i save it” and
- “now here me carefully,,if i was jesus,,and WWJD,,i would (obscenity deleted) kill the #######,,before he killed me w/his kisss…”

I've hooked people up for the same exact thing. It's called terroristic threats and buys you a 72 hr eval from psych.
