Bubbles in the courtyard fountain have been a familiar sight for Liberty University students over the years.

But the latest incarnation of the classic stunt has police searching for a suspect who poured a soap-like substance into the new marble fountain in front of the school’s DeMoss Hall.

University police are looking for the person whose prank caused “a large amount of bubbles” to accumulate in the fountain.

The marble surface of the fountain sustained hundreds of dollars worth of damage, police said.

I mean....really?

It does cost LU thousands of dollars having to clean up after the bubbles...I was speaking to one of the guys who looks after facilities (and fountains) and he's said that the bubbles have caused pumps to go bad, and they have to use something (I forget what he said) that is very expensive to clean out the fountains after it's done...



Still seems a little silly to be on Crime Stoppers even though it's something that should be stopped
