Fall Break Carpool question

I've got a close friend of the family who is an LU student as a freshman now, and he asked me if LU has any system in place for helping students find rides home for fall break. So, a little help? How do students find rides? Is it strictly word of mouth, or is there some organization at LU that helps with that?

My friend is from Chattanooga. Anybody heading that way?

When I was a student you would just post up adds around campus for rides, or you could even have an announcement made during convo. I'm sure you can post it on the splash page as well.

there used to be a "marketplace" on the splash page where you could post that type of thing. Not many people are going out of their way to look for someone to give a ride to though. Posting annoying flyers around campus is the way to go.

Also, SAO (Student Advocate Office) in Campus North would help.

Thanks, blwall. This Student Advocate link looks perfect: https://www.liberty.edu/index.cfm?PID=7305

Most of the time they'll put an announcement on the splash page.
