They have really nice shirts that are sort of dress shirts that are red with the LU logo. Those are $7
They also have a bunch of T-shirts with the logo as well for $7.

Glad to see a place such as Sam's Club supporting the Flames, be nice to see Flames items available at Wal-Mart here in Lynchburg. The Bedford Wal-Mart has items for Liberty High School at times, so it's not unheard of to support a local team.

The Wal-Mart in Winston had sandals last summer that had all of the local high school's name and colors on them.

With the number of LU folks I always see in the Wards Road Wal-Mart, I would think Flames items would sell ok.

you know proto always said that walmart had our stuff but I've never seen it there. And I look for it all the time.

I've never seen it at Wal-Mart. When Legends was in the mall years ago, they carried Flames and LU t-shirts.

I think there might be some proprietary issues goin on as far as Wal-mart not selling Flames gear. The LU bookstore is actually contracted with Barnes & Noble so it wouldn't surprise if there were some "no one else sells LU merch in suchandsuch a mile radius" agreement in there. Sam's Club would probably be excepted because they are a price club, not a store.

I've been trying to find a fitted LU hat, not the one size fits all, but the old school kind. Any ideas where to go for that?

Old school I have a red fitted that I bought from Universal T's last year. I am looking for a blue one now myself. The Blue's are tough because there are so many different shades and your blues can clash. "Stop by Universal T's in the Heart of Windhurst...And tell em' SCAR set ya!"

For those of you in the Lynchburg area, New Life Christian Store on Wards Rd is carrying some LU and Liberty Flames merchandise. If you are on their email mailing list, you sometimes can get 20% coupons which is even more than the alumni discount at the campus bookstore. I talked with the owner tonight and he said the stuff isn't selling well and he may not carry it any longer. They even have LU Flames cow bells, that just cracked me up.

How much are the cowbells? That would be awesome for soccer games.

I think the cowbells were $16.95, but a 20% off coupon would bring it down to $13.56. Once in a great while like on Oct 31, the flyer I receive in the mail usually has a 31% off coupon good for that day only. I try and put off any costly item until then to get the most discount. I thought about getting one, but you can't use them at football games.

You can use pretty much anything you want at soccer games. I want a bass drum but I don't know where to get a decent one cheap.

Pawn shops are a good idea. I left my cowbell at a friend's house at Coastal last year while we were working on the Homecoming float (don't ask). We always had a guy with a bass drum at games and then some one (drunk) brought a metal trash can with a wooden spoon. If worse comes to worse, that could be the cheapest way to go.
Thanks on the signature.

The cowbells at the bookstore are white and have the Flames logo on them.

I was referring to the New Life Christian bookstore. I asked the owner of New Life if what he carried was on campus and he said it wasn't.

Oh, ok. I really don't care what it looks like. It looks like I'll be hitting a few pawn shops up.
LU GEAR

I heard the Alumni office is planning to market their own merchandise as well as general LU appearl on the LU Alumni page sometime in the Fall. The best part is the profits will go straight to the university and not funnel through Barnes & Noble. Just send an email to
alumni@liberty.edu to make some product requests. I sent in a request and they actually responded and said they were working on merchandise as we speak!

That's good news for us alumni. I had emailed one time to the campus bookstore to look into getting items from Wincraft Sports
http://www.wincraft.com, they have a lot of cool items in many sports. I even received a quote from Wincraft for doing a pennant and a trash can and the pricing was reasonable.
