Lynchburg Regional has waved all commercial flights for the better part of Tuesday to handle close to 40 private and chartered jets coming in.

If you can't make it to Lynchburg for the funeral and aren't close enough to watch it on local TV, the news said tonight that WSET.com will broadcast the funeral service live at 1:00 p.m. on their website.

According to WSET news tonight, NEITHER of the Bushes is coming to the funeral, but the current President is sending a "representative."

I'm okay with that. The security precautions and distractions that come with having the POTUS in the place just isn't always appropriate for a funeral. If they came, fine. I'm sure Dr. Falwell would have loved it. If not, that's fine too. It will make it a little less of a circus and little bit more reverent.

Apparently, John Hagee is coming. A plane owned by his ministry landed here yesterday afternoon.

Today's N&A is also reporting that Rod Parsley arrived yesterday for the funeral as well.

Also, based on the private flights that have arrived here in the last two days, I would guess that there are also people coming in from Oklahoma City, Orlando and Grand Rapids.

I am not sure if it will be aired nationally. I was told that only 3 media services are allowed inside TRBC today. They are: The Washington Post, AP, and WSET.

I talked to the first person in line and she said that she got there at 1:53am this morning...
People who I saw and spoke with today....

Michael Tait
Governor George Allen
Judge Roy Moore
Franklin Graham
Pat Robertson
Dr.Lovett

Mark Demoss, said it best to me today that this is more of a normal Sunday morning service...They didn't fly anybody in to sing or to play music, this was a normal man who understood how to relate to people... The A list of celebs that most people said that they were going are not here alot of former SBC people are here, Rick Warren was scheduled to be here but I did not see him come threw the VIP line....

Kevin isn't exactly in a Liberty frame of mine these days. Please note "Face of the Earth" on TobyMac's latest.
