I don't think that road is long from being shut down to most traffic. As for everything else, they repave what they can, when they can, but that usually doesn't happen until Summer when it's feasible to shutdown roads. So, by the end of Spring, things are always as bad as they're going to be for the year.

the half of the circle before the road to the quads is HORRIBLE. i have no doubt my car's life expectancy goes down 3 or 4 years everytime i roll up to that stop sign and practically get thrown into the keyhole parking lot. they did fix a few pot-holes before that stop sign, but now there are a few more... and they're worse!

on campus i ride the bus and walk a majority of the time. but when i head to work at Logan's, which i think is a good reason why freshman should be able to have a car, i prefer to not get thrown out of my vehicle, tear up my shocks, and get the off-road experience ON the road!

actually, i guess it never crossed my mind, but i could walk there too. it'd be a little risky to cross the busy road, but it certainly isn't that far. maybe i'll try it out sometime. rise above the lazy generation! . i could take the bus down there to wherever it stops, and walk back also. usually by the time i'd get off work at night, around 12, the bus isn't running down there anymore. either way, the walk there or back or both wouldn't be bad.

Crossing Wards reminds me of the pre-tunnel days (yes young ones...there was a time when East existed but did not have a tunnel) when some students without cars would run across 460 to get to class quicker.

Those were also the days I could feel safe picking up anyone walking down the street or hopping into a random person's car for a ride back.

I hope they don't shut that back road around the baseball field down. I use it everytime I go to class. I park back by the Rot and the traffic going down past the hill and turning between the hill and DeMoss is too bad to go that way.

They cant shut that road down without making the other roads wider... Do you realize what a cluster it would be if they closed that road? Traffic on campus is bad enough... They cant do it, we are already at the borderline for the State of Virginias standards for how many students we can have without making them wider.
