The only thing I've ever really complained about in a serious manner is the incompetence of Academic Advisors. After going through 4 and talking with kids from other schools, it's obvious that this happens everywhere.

Should have added that lol. If you ask 30 different people at Liberty, you'll get 30 different answers.

yes the academic advisors were completely and utterly worthless....

I knew about the rules before I ever stepped foot on Liberty's campus so I never understood the complaining about them...do your research, don't buy everything being sold do you by people trying to sell the school to you and do your research. I don't feel bad for anybody who says crap like "I didn't realize (fill in the blank)". Its all on the website, not hidden at all...

Oh during the last couple of weeks every year I broke that rule quite a bit...even wore shorts to class a few times. However, other than April 16, I did not wear a VT shirt.

As for the advisors, I had two in undergrad and actually they werent worthless. Dr Dinsmore actually was really helpful (and a nice guy to talk to occasionally). my COMS advisor was very helpful too...actually she was the one who usually clued me in to the fact that I kept getting classes added onto my graduation plan, which I found very helpful oherwise Id probably STILL be in undergrad right now

To me its annoying how only one class is available every four semesters. But idk maybe I won't need it. Heck I really don't know

Wow. can't believe I missed this thread. I'll say this from people who still work at the school and people who used to work at the school everything is not sunshine and roses like people make it out to be on this board.

I love my alma mater. But i know there are things wrong with it and I am not going to be one of those people who sticks their head in the sand and pretends there aren't things that need fixing. I trust and know JFJLR personally and Will attempt to send my kids their one day. however I think BYD has brought up valid points. besides this is a message board aren't we supposed to be discussing these types of things?

BYD if you have things to say, say them when you are ready. just because a few people disagree does not mean other people are not listening and reading.
