Actually, I didn't skip class to take a nap. I skipped class because I was watching Caddyshack, and just so happened to fall asleep after that.

Caddyshack is enough of a reason to skip anything....class, work, dates. Well...unless we are going to the underwear viewing party....then Caddyshack can wait. Oh...it must be the real version...not the TV version.

It was on tv.

HBO.

And I fell asleep during it. I was disappointed.

Honestly, those are the only two things I do that are out of the Liberty Way: movies and convo. Everything else I'm pretty straight forward about. Most on here would be surprised that I've never drank a drop of alcohol in my life.

I've had to threaten people because they keep saying they're going to get me to drink this weekend (because I'm turning 21). I'm fine if other people do, but it ain't my thing.

I never have either. And it's not for any reason other than my own personal one. Keep it real. There's nothin' wrong with that.

Oh. My. God.

They walked in, sat down, he stared right at her, and then they put their foreheads together, literally.

There's just one seat between us. I may throw up before this test starts.

Does your phone have video? A video of this would be great as well!! Of course I'm not sure it is legal to video tape someone without their permission.

I am not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure it's legal to video tape almost anything happening in public. Same goes for photography.

Why do they have to blur out faces when watched on tv? Maybe posting video on the internet is different.

Maybe you have to have permission if you're gonna make money off of showing them?

Again, I am not a lawyer, but I believe the laws are different when you're using it commercially. Profit usually changes things.

Also not a lawyer, but I think the difference is whether or not the subject is a public figure. Paparazzi make all kinds of money off celebrities without their permission because it isn't required. You never see these guys in court on stalking charges. On the other hand, private citizens are protected against this sort of behavior. This is why you see blurred faces on TV (those are people who have failed to sign a consent form to use their image).

Libel and slander laws are similar in that it's much easier to prosecute one of these cases as a private citizen.

Actually, I found a great article from USA Today regarding this subject: http://www.usatoday.com/tech/columnist/ ... laws_x.htm

The legal phrase "reasonable expectation of privacy" seems to be where the line is.
