Does this mean you might actually be happy if your classes that early get cancelled? Or will you be bitter because you had to get up only to find out you didn't have to and are free to go back to bed?

I will be bitter b/c I can easily get on campus and it gets canceled. I've never had an issue making it. Heck...I will be here even when the early classes do get canned.

It is currently 25 degrees and snowing with about a half inch of snow on the ground.....in case anyone really cared about the weather in Detroit.

In order for school to get canceled up here we need to be snowing with about 6+ inches already on the ground at about 3 a.m. Any earlier than that and they can have it cleared before the school buses go out.

Lived in Fla my whole life except for the 4 years...ok 4 + years in the Burg...love the cold!

i prefer the cold over the hot (but i must prefer in the middle...). when its cold, you can always put on more layers and bundle up to get warm (yes I had to stand out at the bus stop for pretty much my whole secondary schooling days since I didnt have a car). i hated when it was hot during my college days, I didnt like it when i would wear a white t-shirt and bball shorts and I would sweat just walking to and from the various buildings...
