Our secret could be out! 8)
I feel funny now everytime I post. I mean, my response to the very post that was quoted word for word was somethign about postie and his friends being gay. Imagine if that were included in the article. That will always be in the back of my mind now.

Like the first time you watch The Truman Show.
hahahaha...i forgot that you had even said that.....

I just realized that they got the URL wrong in that article. We are flamefans.com not flameSfans.com. That's a Calgary Flames website.

:doh
first thing I noticed (thanks to the yellow highlights)

that, and that was my original argument for the proposed name of the "new site" back on the old board.

I think that's what we originally wanted, but it was already taken.

Well.....I won't name names but a certain student about 25 years ago put my girlfriend in HIS trunk and got her on campus after curfew for me. I hear he's a Chancellor now or something like that!

And then I remember the time we stopped about a quarter mile out behind the tree line and three of us started pushing an other-wise well running Volkswagon right on thru the guard shack as we did not want ot lose momentum.......after curfew of course.

The Nov. 28 column on Liberty University tearing down its guard shack got quite a bit of reaction, including this e-mail from Brad Butler, LU Class of 1984. I’m re-running it because I think it provides some interesting insight into Liberty and Jerry Falwell:
“Your piece, ‘LU Finally Lets Its Guard Down,’ brought back many memories:
“First, as a student I was busted at the guard shack a number of times during those years, and on more than one occasion we did have someone(s) in the trunk. Sneaking on and off campus was one of our most favorite pasttimes.
