First year they brought it back.

Back in '99 & '00, we had a 3-day fall break, but only two days for Thanksgiving. They then moved those three days to Thanksgiving break to give us a whole week. Now, you guys get a whole week for Thanksgiving + a 3-day fall break. Lucky, lucky, lucky.

the way they worked the 2 days in for this break is that we started on a Monday instead of the traditional Wednesday like they have done every year i have been here....so technically we still got the same amount of class days....but i like this break...

Saturday night actually...but I see your point. We left crack of dawn Sunday morning, performed in Allentown that afternoon...stayed there last night and got back about an hour ago

oh it is nice...it seemed like every year that the time between the start of school and thanksgiving break would last forever...this helps break it up...i think my grades will be better because of this to be honest

It'll help mine. It gives you a break in the middle of the semester to re-energize to do all the papers/projects due around Thanksgiving, and then Thanksgiving re-energizes you going into exams.
