A good bit of reactionary stupidity out there. Is this how LU teaches its graduates to confront cultural change? This is one of the main reasons my kids weren't at LCA and why they likely won't got to LU.

He isn't saying it isn't real. He didn't even hint at that but typically it is used a a fear mongering statement with very little knowledge of what it actually means. If people had a better understanding of it then it wouldn't be thrown as easily as it is.

Also that article does a great job at laying out what it is and makes it clear nothing going on at Liberty resembles cultural marxism.

Quite often the people complaining about Marxist ideology do so because atheists supposedly dreamed it up. Got news for you... Capitalism was dreamed up by deists (not Christian) and has been pushed hard by atheist propagandists (ie. Militant Atheist Ayn Rand).

Adam Smith is usually thought of as the progenitor of modern capitalism. Wikipedia basically says there are some who speculate he believed in deism, but it's just speculation.

I don't really think its a relevant point anyway, economic systems are not inherently religious or not, and the religion of the theorists hardly makes a difference. If I based my economic policies on who I agreed with spiritually, I guess I'd have to follow Chesterton's distributism Study

On the other hand, thanks for making it easier to view left wing talking points. Maybe I won’t even have to watch CNN anymore! :D

Can you explain what you mean by this? You can't just throw something like this out there without sourcing it.

Hey, what does any of this have to do with conjoining two words into a single idea with no logical fallacies? This has absolutely nothing to do with John Piper, Barnabas Piper, Roddy Piper, or even the Pied Piper. Very confusing.

What about Piper Perabo? She was good in Covert Affairs

My bad, how could I forget? But, that reminds me. This discussion is really about Ted Cruz, Chris Cuomo, and the Gospel Coalition's exegesis of leftist terminology and what it can all mean for us!

Interesting development in the Jerry Falwell jr investigation. That is what I'm calling it since it is unclear if the scope of the investigation will be any larger.

That's the case with any investigation no matter how it's conducted, it's the investigators job to run down every lead and find the truth
