I've had a close friend who has battled addiction and it cannot be stressed enough: no progress will be made until the person is ready to change. No amount of intervening or heart to hearts will do it until they decide for themselves that enough is enough. I hope Jerry gets to the point and gets himself the help he obviously needs for him and his family to heal and find peace.

You already know the answer to your question. I am a mean, hateful person, who is only interested in building personal empires, not willing to do anything for anyone else, and completely selfish. As you know I could have easily put a stop to all of this. One call to the BOT and they would have started holding him accountable. One talk with the family and all the nepotism would stop, the affairs would end, the substance abuse would come to a halt, the self-dealing would disappear, and the belittlement of employees would be a thing of the past. I just didn’t want to do anything about it.

The church where Trey's band used to practice was turned into Becki's yoga studio, complete with Buddhist and Hindu gods and statues. Basically, it is her church, but maybe not the one she was claiming in the 911 call.
There is a long history of the Bedford County sheriff's office being called out to the farm, and alcohol is frequently the problem.

Although I shouldn't expect anything less, I was really disappointed in Scott Lamb's response to this article. The school should drop this and move on, we have much bigger issues to deal with right now.

To be fair, LU has been treated extremely poorly by the media. I fully acknowledge that most of that was due to Jerry placing a big fat target on our back. However, they do need to know that nonsensical hit pieces won't be tolerated, especially now. NY Times has 10+ articles for Liberty in the past two months (not even pertaining to Jerry), all casting LU in a negative light of course. If you think their spotlight of criticism for LU would let up because Jerry is gone, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell ya.

Agreed. We should be investigating how Marxist BLM and LGBTQ+ politics crept into the unisversity (debate team coaches, then students, then faculty) between Jerry Sr's death and now. (I already provided part of the answer). Ron Godwin's termination of professors staunchly against such things played a large part but Godwin had no idea what he was doing. His ignorance was born out of insecurity at Jr's behest.

Then Junior and fam fought the culture war on FoxNews as Jr watched his wife taking it and then trying to coverup his UVA "issues" while allowing Marxists into the unisversity because he was too busy covering up the boinking of his wife by someone not himself while he watched in pleasure. Well, here we are. Falkirk Center to try to clean Jr's marxist friends from the record at UVA and the politics that includes on this side...that's also a decade too late for that within Liberty and the dismantling of the School of Religion and the Theological School (both were in the works) is an even worse decision. Both calculated to try to erase the mess Jr had placed them in.

I'm glad Jr's gone. He and his family members and his lackeys ruined thousands of lives and should be terminated the same way we terminated our professors. Stop worrying about the sports teams and start worrying about the soul of the school.

What Doc created no one should destroy. But if his own son is the arsonist...? I want to save it, but I think many have no idea what it is now. It's something gross we didn't attend. We didn't receive degrees from this University. Some of us wanted to fix this and be a part of the future but Junior and the Board and Jr's drones and many Alumni...no one wanted to listen.
