of course it would take a couple years before liberty to compete fully in D1 if they were to move up.

But Liberty could compete with elite teams if given time. For the fact it would be the ONLY christian hockey school and it's a southern school. Do you know how many really good players they would be able to pick out in the bible belt of Canada? alot of really good religious players; Igina, Staals, Ward, JvR, etc...heck Rocco Grimaldi, who was taken in the 2nd round of the draft probably would've played here if liberty had a team. They already get good talent for being ACHA team.
