This is in reference to the "Liberal Mind" if you care to investigate your own axioms.

I think you meant Capitalism and Communism.

Poliakoff, the president of ACTA, said recent years’ reports of self-dealing under Falwell raise questions about trustees’ oversight: “All the rumors that come out from Liberty suggest that kind of transparent, careful analysis of what’s in the best interest of the school has not been done before.” He said the board should have demanded more transparency: “Liberty made a desperate mistake in vesting pretty much everything in its one leader.”

ATTN: Liberty University is still a closed campus to anyone who is not student, faculty, staff, potential students, or their families. We want to keep everyone safe from unnecessary exposure to COVID-19. We know that this school year looks very different from what it has been in the past, but we need your help to stop the spread and keep all of our Liberty Flames safe! If you know or see any people who are trespassing on campus, please call our department at (434)-592-7641. Thank you.

paradox wrote: This is in reference to the "Liberal Mind" if you care to investigate your own axioms. That is rather hilarious. It was because I investigated my own axioms that I am no longer a conservative. That is actually how it works for most people who leave faux fundamentalism. Most "fundamentalist" doctrines of today are actually quite modern interpretations that are full of contradictions and result in great harm.

Liberty University has hired an outside firm to investigate all aspects of Falwell’s tenure as president. It’s a good start. The school also should dismiss the board that acted like a rubber stamp for Falwell, ignoring his behavior over many years. It should also stop inviting politicians to speak at commencement and convocation. These are among the steps that will restore credibility to a very good university with a potentially bright future.This. We have got to move away from the vision Jerry Jr had for us to become Turning Point University and focus on our religious pursuit to train Champions for Christ. Divisive politics do nothing but get in the way and sidetrack the true mission.

Liberty University is faced with an opportunity. It needs to bring in someone who has not only impeccable academic credentials, but also consistently practices his or her faith; someone who eschews keeping company with high and mighty politicians, preferring the company of the meek and lowly; someone who seeks approval from God more than the approval of political leaders.
.....................
The university’s motto has been “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.” (2 Corinthians 3:17 NASB). It’s time to invite that Spirit to return.
