VICE Chancellor has a very sinister Dark Side of the Force Star Wars sound too it doesn't/? Could this be yet another knickname? (After the SMURF VIllian and the "Geriatric" doctor from Michigan??) Someone may have to get their Star Wars trivia out and find out who the VICE Chancellor of the EMPIRE is/was. I would say DARTH VADER but he turned out ok in the end.

Bottom line is the man deserves whatever credit or PR move the school wants to give him...its no secret his time at Liberty is ending soon but lets not forget that Doc relied on this guy like he never relied on anyone else. While Borek may have been the one to help us get out of debt. Godwin is the one who paved the way to turn this school into a money making machine. I'll never forget at one football game I asked Doc who is the biggest asset in his opinion to the University at that time (thinking I'd hear a name like Towns, or someone else) he didnt hesitate one second and quickly said Dr. Godwin....he said that there were departments that were losing a lot of money and pulling the school down...not only did they stop losing money but some of them got out of the red.


Is he tough to get along with....yeah, he can be...but the man's brilliant and has done great things for this school

not at all....I mean, everyone has mixed feelings on the guy...and that's bound to happen when you're a business leader who's dealings have been as big and public as his...not to mention when you add the "Christian" aspect of it and now you're under the microscope with all that considered he's done well....I hope nobody looks into my business practices and why I have a slush fund!!!

I just love when people used to park in "Godwins supposed parking spot" up by the mansion. He used to park behind you to block you in so you had so come inside and find him. One day he did it to me....but i wasn't going in to get a lecture so i backed up and drove my car between the tree and the overgrown hedges, leaving his car parked sideways in the middle of the road with no one parked in the space in front. Ill bet he still wonders how that car just up and disappeared

Apparently JJ just mentioned me and my GF's car getting towed to all the faculty last week...saying "HMO's girlfriend's car got towed so we figured we'd stop towing for a while....she graduated now so I think we're good now" while laughing...I dont even know how he found out...I'm thinking he likes parking stories

Haha...yeah it was a true story! First day of classes from a transfer who was still unsure if she wanted to be here! LoL...like 30 cars were towed that day..Bee Line made a KILLING!


I asked my dad...he was unaware of that other story....if that's a true story then I feel really really sorry for the officer that did it!
