Yeah, Im not financially checked in yet because i had some problems with the financial aid office, which I know never happens, but I was notified today there are no open beds anywhere on campus, and to start looking at off campus housing. Anyone got any ideas of cheap places to look

It is a bit far, but I've gotten to campus in under 15 minutes from there. Its a fairly nice place, they just installed front-loading washer and dryers. It isn't quite as good as the new ones that get built, but it is fairly quiet and it has a fitness center and pool. A lot of LU grad and law school students live over there. You're also within walking distance of Starbucks, Food Lion, Dragon's Garden Chinese, UPS Store, whatever. There's another shopping center in the opposite direction you can walk to if you're bored, but I'd recommend driving lol. That one contains Kroger, Mountain Frost Creamery, and whatever. Basically everything you need is right there, but you will have to drive 15-20 minutes to get to campus or wal-mart. If I could've convinced someone to move out there with me, I'd still be there...but then again, for $5 more a month I have a REALLY nice place in Wyndhurst now, so...

I used to live off Oakwood Court by the CC and golf course. It is an absolutely beautiful area. I think it is well worth the drive especially in the Fall and Winter. You won't regret it.
