I went... they have a promo going til Sunday, regular sub=1 dollar.

SO GOOD.

I am going like 4 more times before Sunday.

Andy's is awesome. I ate there yesterday for lunch... perhaps THE best bacon cheeseburger ever. That and the cheese steaks are the only thing I've ever had there.

If you bring your chuch bulletins into Andy's on sundays, you get 10% off lunch.

Andy's is definitely a great place for lunch. I wish they had them in my area. I went there a few times when working out of town a couple years ago.

I had the turkey sub for lunch...been in the bathroom 3 times since...it was good though...

Yes, you need the coupon to get the "free" sub for a dollar donation. I went at about 4:30 before Little League practice and got the pastrami reuben sub. The best part was the bread: it was soft and warm like a steamed hot dog bun. Definitely the best bread that I've ever had on a sub. I want to go back and try a cheese steak and Scar's #13 Italian sub.

Jersey Mike's is ok...but the best sub place is 'Firehouse Subs.' I don't know how widespread they are, but all of the subs I've tried there are very good...

There is one in Towers Shopping Ctr. in Roanoke and I love it, but again rather pricey!

Firehouse is good stuff in my limited exposure. Do you guys have Schlotskys or Jason's Deli over there?

Down here in Texas there are several regional chains worth checking out including Thundercloud and Delaware Subs. The latter is owned and operated by formers Eagles All-Pro Jerry Sisemore.

jason's and jersey mike's in all fairness should not be compared. jason's menu is way more advanced. it is very good though. firehouse is good too, but it does not compare with jersey mike's IMO. has anyone ever tried jimmy john's?? my last visit to raleigh i tried it and it was really good.

These are all over the Raleigh area. There's a Jason's on 501 exit of of 40. The Schlotskys I went to the most is off of Falls of the Neuse.

My bill at quiznos yesterday was 8.25. Not much difference really. Turkey Sandwich, chips and drink. It was a good sub but would have great without all those stupid herbs on top of my "wheat" bread. They claim it is traditional wheat on their website. I wonder if they sell plain sub rolls.
