Yeah, I didn't catch it at first when there was a intramural softball team named that several years ago until I actually heard the team name spoken out loud. It didn't register when I read it but when I heard it I found it to be quite funny.

Had a friend on an intramural team at another school and they called themselves “The Wife Beaters”. Their unis were wife beater t-shirts. Their girlfriends would be all cheering “Go Wife Beaters!!!!”

That may not fly in your league, but thought I would throw it out there. Ya know, options and all.

Ok so the tourney is tomorrow. 11:30am at the Armory if any of you want to come and watch. Its a six on six competition and i just found out my team plays a team from Liberty in the first game ( all guys ). My team has 5 guys and 6 girls who we can choose from to play at any time. So now were debating, do we just admit defeat against college kids and play 6 girls or burn all our energy trying to beat them. We play a total of 10 games and the winner( best record out of 10 games) of the afternoon session takes on the winner of the morning session to determine a champion.

Thoughts?

- also the guys on my team range in athletic ability. Some big guys, some small ones and even one indian developer who throws the ball cricket style and it has some crazy movement.
