When they announced it they said itd be over on Campus East. Once its open you'll be able to see it somewhat from main campus but you'll have a better view of it when you take the road that leads to East and the intramural fields.

I see Campus east in the background but the depth perception is throwing me off. I can't tell if its on the main campus or also over on Campus East. Thanks.
It's in the pit over on East Campus.

I never knew why they called the one on East Campus a pit because really the one by the quads essentially was a pit where people could park their cars. I guess its because its the furthest parking from the original east campus dorms...I dunno

It's just easy to name a big parking lot in the middle of nowhere a pit. Just like the David's Place pit, the one by the quads, and the East Campus pit.

Thanks for the info.

We used to call David's Place parking lot "Egypt" and the quads "The Pit".

I wrapped up in 2001 though so I'm practically dead now.

So the wife brought home a Joey Bag of Donuts and a Super Kingpin from Moe's for lunch on Tuesday. (Thanks to whoever was handing out the freebies at LU.) Yesterday she managed to snag a "VIP Pass" for their pre-opening deal tonight. Even after I eat it again tonight, I'll still consider going over there tomorrow. Man do I love Moe's.

Ate at Moe's today...
...AWESOME FOOD....nice atmosphere. Reminds me of Subway gone Mexican. Much better than Dickey's.

Moes is not bad Tex Mex if you can't get the real deal. The only location in TExas was right around the corner from my house but it closed up a couple of months ago.

If I were in Lynchburg, I know it'd be in my regular rotation.

I tend to think of it as "Quiznos gone Mexican"

Subway is lame. :P

But it is very good.

Does anyone notice the music being played, and the common thread of the artists they play?

I'm craving a Triple Lindy right about now...if only I was off of this stupid diet! :banghead

Just don't check out the nuntritional information. It's depressing. Over 900 calories just for the burrito I love. No wonder I've gotten fat since I was eating there at least once a week over the past few months...

oh, and so you guys know, here is the perfect burrito...

order a Joey.

once they steam the shell, ask them to put down cheese (its already right next to them)
then light rice
extra black beans
steak
onions (if you like)
queso! (this is key)
more cheese
(whatever other toppings you choose)
Chipolte Ranch Dressing! (this is key, too)

of course, get chips on the side, and tomatilla sauce from the salsa bar.

it doesn't get any better than that folks.

add on some cookies if you feel up to it.

What is the story behind all the Seinfeld references in the place? Is there a story, or is the owner just a fan?
