Yep, I'm talking about Cross. It was Wes' wedding last October in FL.

Ah, the one wedding I forgot.

Cross is nuts, but since he's Canadian, I guess he gets a pass.

Dave is a great guy. Come to think of it, he does go to a lot of weddings now doesn't he? Guess he was practicing for his own. We were roommates in '03-04', so I know the guy pretty well. Very funny, eh?

I have to do some things for the VC, since I'm in Resident Marketing. When Cross first got his bike, he let me take it for a spin.

Nice that you got to ride it. I kinda got scared off the whole bike thing by a few friends who had some bad accidents on them. I know Dave had wanted one for a long time so I'm sure he loved getting it.

Wonder why they don't have a "Meet the IT guys!" portion of CFAW? I know we can only take in so much daylight at a time, but we could probably survive a trip over to Main Campus.

I'm glad you asked: BJ's pic is on page one of the new Liberty Journal: it's a group shot with Jerry, Jr. and his wife, but BJ is front and center giving the "thumb up" sign.

Even Knucklehead Inc. acknowledges CFAW:
Hundreds Attending College For a Weekend at LU

Lynchburg, VA - This may be a good weekend to avoid Wards Road. It's going to be packed! Liberty University is holding its annual College For a Weekend program and it has hundreds of extra teens and their parents flowing into that part of town.

They’re bringing a lot of excitement to the campus. They actually started arriving Thursday, but Friday and Saturday are definitely the most eventful.

heh...very funny. I actually spent much of yesterday afternoon schlepping my PC from North Campus to my room (I stopped by the new salon over thre and a friend of mine that works there gave me a much needed haircut), and then trying not to put my fist through a wall after the one thing Im responsible for in the marching band show went wrong at practice.

This made me laugh really hard...at first it reminded me of the male cheerleaders that would complain when their stupid little routine would mess up....then after that I thought one time at band camp...

it was fun reading all of the thoughts on Cross...keep them coming they are entertaining

Im glad I could amuse you. After I went to the play last night (btw we have an amazing theater department and I highly recommend checking this show out...especially for those of you heading in for homecoming) I felt a lot better

Yea, nice to meet who all I did meet. Cider Jim, I actually inadvertently met you before Fumble told me who you were. I'm sure you had a lot of people come by but I was there around 3:00 and I was wearing a red LU hoodie, blue sweatpants and a nike gym bag with black bball shoes hanging off it. Yea, I actually had a great time, I even took in a sword fight by the intramural fields, saw our girls soccer team lose, (again) and got to stay on east, so I would say mission accomplished, and I'm sorry some of you aren't cool with the CFAWers, I completely understand.

BJ...sword fight? I thought our agreement with you guys was to do it anytime OTHER than CFAW...we only want them to see the crazies when they've already paid!

Gym.rat, next time you are on campus, please introduce yourself, so I'll know who you are. I hope you had a good visit at CFAW.

I will Cider, thanks and I had a great time. And guys, the sword fight was kind of sweet, and I didn't see any other CFAWers around so you're ok. 8)

I just laughed...I can tell your a very very nice person and getting you to say something mean must be like pulling teeth!

Smooth...they dress up like gladiators and barbarians and use swords that are wrapped in duck tape and there are like 100 of them, and they line up on two sides and they yell...FIGHT and they charge each other...I'll never forget when I was with JF and he saw them do that for the first time...he said "is this actually happening? I've never seen anything like this before." It was great
