It does seem as if LUPD was purposely not notified of the situation, which is pretty questionable on the part of LPD and the State Police.

i think they got him tonight. I was at hardees with my girlfriend and like twenty cop cars came out of nowhere and three fire trucks from both directions of candlers mtn road sped into the hotel across from Lahaye and then cops chased some guy out of the hotel towards lahaye and caught him and threw him on the ground. Dont know if that was him, but id assume so? If not, still involves candlers st. /460 so...

when i drove by there were 3 cop cars and about 5 cops standing around a dude face down in the grass cuffed. the cops were just talking, i guess the action was over. not sure why they would leave him in the grass instead of putting him in the car?
