even though this thread has nothing to do with the queen....I will try to steer it back that way

Am I the only one that could care less about the Queen?? She has no power...I guess I am not a history enthusiest so many will say I need to appreciate the history...but I don't care about the queen

plus i have to put a news package together for tomorrow and all I could find is queen story's....now if they were about that band Queen I'd be all over that

I feel about the Queen and the royal family coming to town the same way I feel about the circus. It's a little more glitz and a little more hoopla but, in the end, it's just one more bearded lady.

At least you guys don't live and work in Richmond. There's this guy that works with me who took the day off yesterday to stand in a greeting line hoping to shake her hand. Well, he came in today, and was like I got to shake the queen's hand, I got to shake the queen's hand!! Who cares!!!

If you ever get the chance to tour Buckingham Palace, definately do it! It is only open to the public a few months of the year, but it was quite remarkable to see.
