Now that the leaves are off the trees, I think I spotted the lake while I was running today. Still, no sign of a road or any new construction in that area. Maybe I'll put on my boots and hike down to the lake over the break.

Home Pond Advantage is a serious thing. You would have all te knowledge of which type of Grub the local fissies like! This is big business!

I remember hearing about a fishing tourney when local fisherman David Dudley fished on the B.A.S.S tour where he was penalized for asking locals about lures before the tourney.

When's it going to be open? I hate these "open to the Public" lakes...they are normally over fished and the only thing that will bite are the freakin sunnies....nothing better than sneakin on the golf courses around the burg and casting some lines...now that's good fishin! Hmmmmmm it's almost striper season at the lake (does striper have two "p's" or one...I want to spell the fish, not the one involving a pole)


Lemme know what seems to be bitting over there though...I may swing by if it's pretty good

well that's originally what it was for (see the spillway back there if u ever walk the trails behind the vines center) until a little incident involving a certain type of assault happened back there... when that happened, all of a sudden that plan for a nice little nature park and lake got scratched

yeah thats the worst part of campus. i get angry at my girlfriend if she walks home from work that way (its 11:30 at night and shes alone) because its down in a pit, theres like all of 1 light down there, and no one can see you unless they are down there with you. That needs to worked on somehow.

um, yeah... considering they had 4 sex assaults on campus last year (nice that they actually report them now btw...), she should definitely be a bit more careful.

on a cool note, if you find the spill way, theres a bunch of spray painted symbols left over from the WarPigs, etc... that mark tunels out from campus. the one under the raildroad tracks goes to Wards (obviously). the one going back towards campus i hear goes all the way out to 460. with all of the contruction, im not sure if it still does or not. if u feel adventurous, take a camera and try filming your very own Liberty Tunnel Witch Project (cause the Blair thing is all played out)... at any rate, it might get you some nice hits on youtube or facebook.
