I, due to two things, me being from chicago and the fact that my parents left for france right after church, stayed on campus this weekend. I was one of the few as just about everyone left. I was seriously the only person in my hall, so i had an epic movie weekend. There really is no point to this thread, i just feel like i have accomplished something. Here is what my weekend entailed of:

Lord of the Rings trilogy (extended version)
Star wars episodes 1,2,3,4,5,6
Band of Brothers entire series
Robinhood prince of thieves
Spiderman 1 & 2
Batman Begins
Superman Returns

can you tell i was a little bit bored

That's quality. Especially Band of Brothers. I can watch that every time they run it on The History Channel.

One of these is not like the others.

Watched "Pursuit of Happyness". Just awful. It was like sitting still for two hours while somebody punched you gradually harder and harder in the kidneys.

There is NO WAY that you could have done that. I mean, the Lord of the Rings trilogy is probably 11 hours, the Star Wars films are at least 12-15. That's a day right there. How could you have watched all of that on a weekend? I want more details.

And if you did watch it all... may the Lord have mercy on your soul.

(although I don't know what's worse, the fact that he did this or the fact that I envy him).

I watched it. The ending sucked. Everyone knew what was going to happen. At least show us his office, show the kid growing up, show something.

what movie are you talking about?

and Ed, i started friday night at about 9 , which was about 3 hours after my hall left, with the fellowship of the ring, I didnt go to sleep unti 5:30, after finishing two towers. I woke up at 1 and started return of the king right about then. Ended at 5, went to dinner, came back and started starwars which ended about 6 am on easter sunday. Slept until church then ate, and start band of brothers around 12:30, ended at 10:30, then proceeded to watch the rest of the movies and finished up at about noon. I didnt sleep at all last night in efforts of getting back on sleep schedule for this week

Agreed. I ended up fast-forwarding through a good bit of the movie. I thought it was kind of funny how they worked the real Chris Gardner in at the end, though.
