wait, did it say they were kicking everybody out? I figured they'd just teardown the windixie and build there. I'd imagine the land goes a good distance back, leaving the other buildings and occupants.

Tenants were told by the landlord, John Stewart Walker Inc., that the 28-acre shopping center is under contract. The parties have six months to work out details, or the deal falls through.

I'm not sure how to interpret that really.

Unless the leases have a cancellation clause the tenant leases have to go with the property to the new owners and they have to wait until the leases and all options expire before they can kick them out. I'm thinking they will have to negotiate buyouts of the leases which would pay for moving costs, etc.

Hey, maybe Mudpuppies will actually wind up in a place that has a decent setup for watching football. Sometimes it's just horrible trying to watch your game when it's only on the little TV in the corner behind the bartender.
