The wife and I are going to be driving through Lynchburg around lunch time tomorrow and would like to stop for a meal. We're traveling with our 8 month old daughter and our dog. Any recommendations for a place that has outdoor seating and is pet-friendly? Decent local craft beer on draft is definitely a plus. Thanks in advance!

That will be your best bet. Citizen Burger Bar will keep you filled up and they have adult sodas of a local variety. And JK Scrumpies Cider. Just saying

Sounds like a good idea. Was hoping for something in Lynchburg, but Charlottesville works just fine. Thanks.

:clapping I promise you won't be disappointed: the food is excellent, and the mountain views are amazing! And they are SO dog friendly.

I'm late to the party but, Apocalypse Ale Works in Lynchburg (Forest) is awesome, and very pet friendly as well. There is also a mini horse who frequents the venue :) here is the link:

Blue Mountain's food was very good. We got fish tacos and buffalo wings. The beer was solid as well. We loved the outdoor seating area. Thanks for the recommendation.

This will be on the list next time we're in the area. Thanks.
