Maybe Jerry Falwell was right. The late evangelist always figured that most people would dismiss anything that started in this little city, where he founded Liberty University. I'm happy that what Liberty has done and is doing has allowed the school to be successful. As someone who telecommutes to work I think there is still a long way to go in matching up what the university does for distance learners and what is possible in fostering an online community.
