It was not a revenue issue. The store did well. The previous owner had some issues unrelated to the business that forced him to close. It was a shock to Dickeys. The new ownership is solid.

Liked the food, but the store was sometimes lacking in the housekeeping area. Hope that improves.

They actually had to hire a professional company to clean the entire place. The new owner said it was filthy

Drove by on Monday and signs are up saying next Thursday Feb. 28th is the official re-open date!

Tonight I had Dickey's pulled pork, and Mrs. Cider had the brisket. They've redone the counter with plexiglass all around. Sadly, the tomato, cucumber, onion salad is OFF the menu.

But I'm still so glad that they reopened.

My good friend Dr Wheeler was especially happy at the reopening. He would take his seminary classes to Dickey's the last week of the semester.

Yes sir they do. Same specials as well. That means Mondays (Pulled Pork Sandwich) and Fridays (Pulled Pork Plate) will be the days that I'll be frequenting this establishment. And Flames Cash looks to be 2-3 weeks away. Working out approval with corporate and Liberty according to the lady at the register on Sunday.

Downeast Carolina and Texas are may favorite! Dickey's is okay but not as good as the price suggest.
