Salem or Bassett at Salem Civic Center Fri or Sat. Once again, only 6 players. Hopefully we will have all 7 next game. Our Jr stepped up these last two games.

We've played our last 5 games, Seminole and Region 3 tournaments, with only 6 players. We did bring up 4 JV players but 1 quit, one just wants to watch another....well.... We did get1 in for 2 minutes today. The gap in not just the basketball skill level but the motor skill level between our top 7 and any player on JV is vast. We rolled the dice early, and have a25-2 record to back up the decision. Thankfully we don't have anymore '3 games in 5 days' stretches left. It sure would be nice to have another contributor or two but you go with what you got.

I've been all over it since last night! They apparently press the whole game. But only on one half of the floor. Interesting concept. Apparently if you throw it long they won't fetch it but will bring it back!

I am not sure anything else could have gone wrong today and when that happens you usually don't win. We didn't. But my wife and I are still in love.

Thanks Flame and Shorty. I feel sorry more for the girls. At my age I realize these seasons are rare and need to be savored. When the dust settles they will realize how close they were and how far they could have gone and it may stung more. My wife and I are happy to have enjoyed the ride.
