Liberty News wrote:Law student to report for news program on Glenn Beck network
February 15, 2013 : By Drew Menard/Liberty University News Service

Brian Bosché, a student at Liberty University School of Law, recently accepted an offer with Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze TV to be a face of the new “For the Record,” what Beck hopes to be an edgy news program aimed at younger viewers.

Upon completion of his law degree in May, Bosché will begin with TheBlaze as a reporter in June.

Did you just call JBock a big government republican? I'm closer to that than he is!

But I do disagree with him on Beck. I think he is brilliant and what he is doing with TheBlaze et al is ahead of its time. Just like what Rush did on the radio back in the day.

Since when did Glenn Beck become a libertarian?

Look, you can like Glenn Beck if you want. That's your freedom. I just think he's nuts when he goes into all this the world is going to end garbage that he constantly does. Years ago, his show had nothing to do with politics.

In fairness, The Blaze is a pretty good website.

And I think ILLogic got you and I confused Haize.

Could be. Although I'm an early Rand Paul 2016 band wagon hopper

Your first comments (and theirs) are about Beck, not the accomplishment of the student. Getting an opportunity with someone of his importance is a big step for anyone right out of school...of course because its not with FoxNews or any of the other mainstream networks, its apparently not all that big of a deal

I saw your comments...what Im getting at is that you have a student getting a pretty significant opportunity in not only his undergraduate area of study but gets to use his graduate degree as well. Its pretty awesome to have alums not only in ministry, education, medicine, government, etc. but also in communications as well (and yes I saw that he got his undergrad from Tech). Like Glenn Beck or not, it shouldnt have been the primary focus of commentary on this soon to be alum's opportunity

I imagine LU will put out an announcement when MSNBC and/or CNN hires one of our law school graduates too.

Why don't we do this when they get a job at McDonald's too?

TheBlaze ≠ CNN or MSNBC. Isn't it only on Dish?

Don't hold your breath until CNN or MSNBC waits to hire one of our Law graduates. That was the unspoken part of my earlier statement. I think Beck wanted to buy Current TV at one time before Al Gore sold it to Al Jazeera.

Though I know youre referring to a much lower level job with them, Im sure if someone from Liberty got on as an executive with McDonalds, they'd put out a release about it
