It's "good ol' days" syndrome, and it's B.S., as was clearly explained in Season 6, Episode 10 of my one of my most favorite television shows.

If you're not being educated by television, you're watching the wrong channel.
Good show.

That is true. My wife says she learned a lot more about history watching the History Channel then all through school. She learns how Pawn Shops work by watching Hardcore Pawn. Learns about animals watching Discovery. And how to make Meth by watching Breaking Bad

So, uh, apparently the clips I posted had nudity in them. I didn't watch them before I had embedded them and it has been a very long time since I watched that show.

I sincerely apologize for that. My mistake. I assumed they wouldn't still be on YouTube if they had anything not FlameFans friendly in them (aside from language).

My bad guys. Forgive me, please.

You have a good point  .... there has always been and there always will be the same percentage of winners and losers in life  Some get it, some never will

At the RNC I saw a lot of high ranking people glamorizing the past...talk of founding fathers and liberty and freedom and all that...limited government and what have you. I'll take the politics of 1804 over the debacle we have in the white house today...just sayin.

I think you may be confusing sentiment and politics. Liberty and Freedom are timeless virtues. You will hear those themes spoken this week in Charlotte. Returning to ideas laid out by our Founding Fathers, who borrowed from others, is a different thing then returning to the TIME of the Founding Fathers.
