Watch your mouth. That's the only kind there is.

Sorry but Texas style BBQ > NC style...

My wife and I were among the first to enter the building on Saturday night before we went to the baseball game. We just happened to be stopped in traffic (on our way to Sonic) when I saw cars pulling up and people waiting outside. We parked and I went to pull on the door and the owner/manager greeted everyone and asked if we wanted to come in - so I played the gentlemen and held the door open for the very first customers.

The fact that you can order a hamburger, corn dog, and fries as a combo plus get a good sized milkshake all for $6 is pretty awesome. You can't beat that deal ANYWHERE these days... They messed up both of our milkshake orders but took them both back and promptly made us another while letting us keep the ones they messed up! Great service...

This I find hard to believe. Things don't open in Danville, they just close.

Bite your tongue! Vinegar based is the only BBQ worth eating.

I really want to try the Alabama style BBQ that uses mayo in the sauce.

It's not very often that I get embarrassed by my peers' actions, but does anybody else cringe at the reaction of Lynchburgers to new restaurants? It's kind of ridiculous. Maybe it happens everywhere and I just didn't notice when I was younger.

It happened here when they opened the Cookout by my house. Couldn't even get in the parking lot for about a month or two.

I was in Lynchburg all last week and saw the lines at Cookout. CRAZY. Knew nothing about it so we went in in the middle of the afternoon and the line was still long and slow so we went over to 5 Guys. Nobody there and food was great. I looked at the food at Cookout while in line and it looked pretty typical--not worth a long wait. Some other time. BTW--weather last week--awesome. Unfortunately we had little time to enjopy as our last renter left the house a mess and we had to work all week cleaning and fixing things. Not much of a vacation.

we don't seem to be that way around here. for example, the first chipotle opened up here and we went 2 days after it opened at lunch and it was 1/2 full. (i prefer qdoba anyway)
