I really hope that's not the case.

hahahahaha it's so funny that both you and SJ are exactly right.

People everywhere have been talking about changing the letters. I serioulsy doubt anybody could alter thousands of heavy rocks and plantlife in one night. Not to mention I'm sure they'll have someone patrol it at least once a night. That would make it doubly impossible.

By the way, what's with these dorm 8 retards? Why do they insist on vandalizing the entire campus? I see their stupid dorm 8 logo all over the place. It really makes everything look trashy. I saw a car at Walmart the other day with the license plate "LU DORM8". I first I laughed because that's pretty pathetic, but then I thought about telling them how stupid they were for doing all of the painting.

So, is anybody else out there thinking " who is going to be the first to 'christen' the mountain side"
No...not LU students, what was I thinking?

There are several other colleges in the area who would love to Punk LU by changing the letters.

Okay, votes on how long until students from (Insert School of Choice Within 50 miles of LU) "relocate" the shrubs of the "-----" bar of the "L" a little higher to change the "L" to an "F" to reveal what the letter logo might have been had the school been named after the namesake of the founder?

In other words, how long before they turn it into a Furman monument?

With all due respect to JF, I am glad that there was foresight back in the naming game to name the school a conceptual name rather than after any one namesake a la ORU or BJU. Just my .02

My vote...LU students change the letter first.

If I had the thought of doing it, 19 year-olds on the mountain are already making plans.
