Queer would be, to my understanding very flamboyant. Gay would be someone you would say "Really?". I have had several roommates who were gay at company meetings, can't say it bothers me other then the fact I wish the company would spring for rooms for everyone! What does surprise me is how many co workers come up at breaks and meals and ask if I knew my roomie was Gay, like they are shocked. The majority of interactions I have had with gay men and women have been positive. You could say there is nothing "queer" about them! (sorry couldn't resist).

Is this really that big of a deal? I mean, one school is worried about being sued by a student and now LU is arguing first amendment rights. Sounds like a stupid thing to get upset over.
