Thoughts -

1. Will the current crossing at the tracks be closed, and the new car tunnel under the tracks connecting to Harvard street be opened in conjunction with the new library opening?

2. As is planned the library will be a stones throw away from the tracks and many times throughout the day will be inundated with whistles from the trains. Obviously the closing of that crossing would fix the problem.

I think that the sound of trains is gonna be an issue regardless of whether they close that crossing or not. Now as for the car tunnel, that Id guess would depend on the city because you saw how long it took to get the bridge and pedestrian tunnel approved and youre gonna have to do something with the traffic while that is being hashed out.
