Don't usually frequent fine dining establishments...I'm just too cheap. Did go to the Crown a month ago, thanks to a gift certificate someone gave us. Had the filet, which was very good, but the atmosphere was horrible, and when we left, our eyes were burning and our clothes smelled like we had cooked our own meals on the grill. That's not acceptable for a fine dining restaurant. Not to mention the walk up salad bar, that couldn't compete with Country Cookin' or a Golden Corral. The atmosphere was horrid, as well. I understand it's got a legacy here, but the place is stuck in the 70s. Huge disappointment for us, just glad we didn't actually pay for the meal :)

I do want to clarify, the service at the Crown was exceptional. While it sounds like I only frequent 'cheap' restaurants, I worked as a cook at a high-class steak house while in college, that was very highly rated, with customers out the door most every night, so I've seen it done right.

It's no where near a fine dining establishment. It's an Applebee's without being a national chain.
Yeah nobody that voted for the Depot has been to the Millstone Tea Room.

The Depot does have great dry rub ribs and chicken tenders.
