JK You may want to look back in the program. Practical experience played a HUGE part of the degree. I speak from experience on that one. While there may have not been a requirement per se, but it was emphasized and expected.
Further, it is SPORT MANAGEMENT. There no "s"! Also, as any SMGT Major knows its the study of what happens "outside the white lines"...I think it was even a test question!!

That was a huge pet peeve with Doc, and he corrected me a million times when I would say that. I've seen typo's for years saying "Sports" but regardless of how it makes a lot more sense to say Sports, it's not correct.

With all due respect to Super, who was a SM major and alumnus, the department is listed as Sport Management 6 times on their LU webpage: http://www.liberty.edu/index.cfm?PID=69

Yes it is, but in the press release about the new certification it says sports management.

They need to do a better job of proof reading then. The accrediting commission has "Sport", not "Sports" in their organizational name.

On my class ring they screwed it up and put sports management instead of Sport. oh well. still bugs me.
