I did indeed follow CJ's lead. The chicken was very good but not quite up to Popeyes standards. The dirty rice was on par with Popeyes.

Now the biscuits were the big winners. The cinnamon and plain ones were excellent but the boberry biscuit may work its way back into my schedule again before we leave town Thursday morning.

The sweet tea was a little too syrupy for my tastes. But I see why it is so popular.

All in all, I get why the place is such a FlameFans favorite. I'll be working it into my rotation on future visits.

Got the hankering today and went through the drive thru. Service was great, food was disappointing, but still not bad. The fries weren't seasoned and the chicken in my filet biscuit was thin and dry.

I had my first-ever cinnamon biscuits about 2 weeks ago. You can buy them by the 6-pack.

In NC Bojangle's serves Cinnamon Pecan twists. Not here. I really like those. Where are they?
