www.luoffcampus.com

I just noticed this advertisement on craigslist.

I wonder if LU is ok with this.....i would think using the monogram on your homepage and the name gives the impression they are affiliated with LU (even though it says they are not)

The room standards of living are also debatable how you inforce fines if someone is at your house are 1am.

He was awarded the Liberty University "Student of the Year" in 2005
That's a thing? What an absurd award.

I do think LU would take action if they were trying to make it look like they were affiliated but I think it's pretty clear that they're not. Good looking website. I think they've got a good idea, marketing-wise.

actually, the key chain at the top is an academic logo. I think they would be displeased with that.

The add on Craigs after rereading it says they are not in town anymore and are trying to sell at least one of these houses to pay off student loans. Landlords not being in town i can see being a possible nightmare.

My guess is they purchased these in '06/'07 or later. I don't see how much equity they could have in them to be able to pay off student loans. Also, student loans are so incredibly cheap. Why would you sell an investment like these to pay off the least threatening debt you'll ever have?

Perhaps because they live in Atlanta and they're concerned about maintaining properties. I wouldn't feel comfortable leasing out my house (if I do have to move soon) except for the fact I have family in the area to look out for my interests. I get that. But you are correct that it is not likely to be a financial windfall for them unless they originally bought at some terrific prices.
