I haven't eaten at the Shoe yet, but for the others it's Crown Sterling.

I like Texas Roadhouse. Never been to Crown Sterling (never could afford it when I was there, and the in-laws don't go there). I've been to Kyoto, and loved it. If money is no object, that's where I want to go.

Koto is pathetic...they have no idea that they still could be THE PLACE to go in Lynchburg if they would just clean it and renovate it some. I mean you walk in and they have huge dehumidifier sitting there with a huge hose going to the ceiling....this is still a very big style restaurant in other cities just not here anymore b/c well...things I've mentioned.

I voted Texas Roadhouse....a little known secret is you can get a better steak at TR than you can at Shoemakers.

Crown Sterling has good steaks...reminds me of Dr Falwell too...Id like to go there one day

You can actually get that at Golden Corral, although that no longer qualifies as a steak house. Speaking of that, we don't have a category for buffets (other than Chinese). Not many choices any more.

Ryans is closed. The only real options for every day all-American gluttony are Golden Corral and Country Cookin (which barely counts IMHO). There may be a couple of places that have Sunday buffets.

I've heard good things about new london. Hopefully I'll get there soon. Roadhouse is too noisy, I like to be able to talk without yelling during dinner. That said, they have an excellent steak. I also like outback a lot. Its always on the regular rotation for steaks
