As of 820 PM...we have a couple of helicopters beaming down search lights over our neighborhood. Will be interesting to hear what they're looking for.

Door locked...CHECK
Baseball Bat...CHECK
20 year old son who can kick some butt...Double CHECK!

I saw that on my way home from church. I had the same situation about a year and a half ago over my neighborhood. Turns out some dude robbed a convenient store nearby and they were looking for him. He didn't come by here.

When I was living and working in Prince George's County, MD right outside of Washington, I would go in to work at 1:30 or 2 in the morning. Probably once a week, driving in, I would see a helicopter with the search beans going.

FR, Right there with you. I've got the Brooks Robinson autographed Louisville Slugger here. 28 ounces of pure Ash.

That's the national guard. They fly in groups to train in other states.

Now we know:
A woman was robbed at gunpoint near her car Wednesday night off Edgeway Drive in the Vista Acres area, just outside Lynchburg.

Campbell County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the two men who approached the woman wearing ski masks and demanded her purse around 7:30 p.m. Capt. L.T. Guthrie said the men showed her a gun and she handed over her purse.

The woman was not injured.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office at (434) 332-9574 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 798-5900.
