Pedal Pusher: Unicycle gives student burst of fame

Two summers ago, Liberty University student Kurt Collins rummaged through the basement of his parents’ Maryland home and found a toy that would later gain him semi-fame on his college campus.

A unicycle.

It was an old and long-forgotten trinket that his father had never mastered. But Collins was determined to excel where others hadn’t.

“No one else knew how to ride it, so I figured I’d teach myself,” he said simply, holding his transportation recently while resting on the steps of the university’s DeMoss Hall.

Believe it or not we had a unicyclist on campus back when I was in school one year. Weird.

I hate that guy. I live 500 miles away, I've never met him and I've only seen him in that picture but anyone wearing that hat and riding a unicycle is just begging to get rundown. He's the sidewalk version of the guy who hangs out in the laundry room with a guitar butchering Richard Marx songs.

Just for the record, the bear was NOT moonwalking... furthermore, unicycle boy had better obey all traffic laws and only cross streets at sidewalks instead of cutting out in front of cars, or he'll be paying to fix my car... (always wondered how far one would fly if u hit em at 25...)
