My wife is from Conn. & she use to say grinders. I kept telling her, "They don't call it GrinderWay...it's SubWay." She has now seen the light & refers to them as subs.

I lived in Maine for 4 years...my whole family is from Maine....they all say Subs....so its not new england as a whole...most people think if they do it in Connecticut or Massachusetts then the rest of new england must....
