Gotta start somewhere. My goal, and I know this'll be hard to do but I think it's possible if the team progresses like we think they will:

Cheer sheets tonight.

Cheer sheets the first two games of the three game home stand when we get back (CSU then Coastal).

No cheer sheets, more people involved for High Point.

Successful road trip closeby getting students to go (HPI, Radford, VMI).

No cheer sheets and relatively full Vines Center for UNCA and Winthrop. We'll get kids to UNCA because of Kenny George and Winthrop because it's Winthrop.

Away games in SC and at Longwood.

Last home stand packed out vs VMI and Radford.

be prepared to get ridiculed by other teams though however...

if i went to someone's house and they were passing out "how to cheer" sheets to everyone, i would have a hay day with it...

If they say stuff to me, that's to my advantage. If we can get a team to focus more on us and less on the game, we've won.

Our guys love the fact that we're doing the cheer sheets just because it might get people involved.

We're doing 400 tonight. Honestly, if it gets 30 more kids cheering, I'll be happy.

If this doesn't work you can all paint your chests red and run around the vines like chickens with your heads cut off.

HA. Go to Cameron...you'll have thousands of people to ridicule.

I really hope the atmosphere in the Vines changes. Bottom line...a better product on the court will do that the fastest. Football turned it around....basketball can do the same.

SJ, good job trying to make a difference.

Radford had maybe 5 last year (students at least) and Winthrop didn't bring any.

High Point used to bring a few dozen, Radford used to always bring the most, and Longwood always brought some annoying fans as well.

when I first heard about them I thought it was the dumbest thing I had ever heard about...but then I started thinking about how stupid most of the students are at the games and realized that it has probably come to this....

so I am for it right now, but not for the long term.....

Yes you surprised me during a football game when you clowned me about me always talking about the #20. It was out of character but I had to laugh pretty hard...Looking forward to seeing you Smoothie! I will look for you during the women's game if you will be here. that soon... The Cheer sheets are "Chuck Norris Approved"

Best Cheer of the Night: "Mary Had a Little Lamb"

The folks on the Baptist side were laughing every time you guys would do that one: the Hose had a player named Lamb, and every time he would get the ball, the student Flames section would break out in song.

It was Presby Had a Little Lamb, not Mary. No one cared what Mary had.

There weren't a ton of cheer sheets left laying around, but no one really got involved.

We're getting better, but we've still got a long way to go.

Even better, Super. We :oldhag sometimes have problems with our hearing. Loved the chant. Have you looked at the BSC rosters to see if there are any other players' names that you could work into a nursey rhyme song?

Nope. We don't plan stuff like that. We just let it happen. It's more fun that way.
