I'm just skeptical at this point in the season about the basketball team considering there's a new coach, their two best guards from last year are gone, and the fact that this team is pretty much the guys randy dunton brought it and dunton sucked.

I don't mean this to be insulting in any way, but given all the things you listed, wouldn't you say that it would be more reasonable to say you don't know what to make of this team rather than to say you're skeptical of them? I mean, I don't think even we as LU fans have any expectations going into this season. I know that I've pretty much taken a "whatever happens, happens" attitude for the next two hoops seasons. I just expect the transition to take more than one off-season and I don't expect to see any real results until that transition is complete.

heck, even when Kentucky was ranked #22 (and BEFORE the gardner webb loss) I thought UK was overrated.

So, do you think LU is overrated? Again, not trying to be insulting or condescending in any way. Just wondering.

Supe...give him a break...and give it a rest. He's posting reasonably intelligent analysis about basketball. If someone got fired up every time one of us posted something inflammatory...we'd all be banned. From what I can surmise, this would not be the first time someone posted under an assumed name...or two.

Well they were only picked to finish what 6th in the conference? Based on the play I saw last night, I'd definitely have to say no. Before the season started I probably would have said they were picked about right where they belong given the fact that there was going to be a transition to a new coach and none of us knew how well the players would make the transition on the court.

I honestly don't know about the Olympic project. I didn't have it when I was in Sport History but they have some type of Olympic project now.

The big projects are in O&A and Marketing.

thats nonsense, thats what that is. By the way everyone doggin on SMGT. Coaching classes are electives, not actual SMGT classes. Most SMGT majors minor in business so we care our fair share. I also might have to add pschology to the cupcake list. I took three classes and they were all joke classes. Good classes to take though with all the attractive females and funny discussions in the class.
