He is Matt Wilmingtons' dad.

The guy is a freaky Bible guy. Matt used to tell us in class that he would go home each night and read/study the bible for 3 hours. While others go home and watch tv, workout, play on the internet, he goes home and studies the Bible. He may be top authority on the Bible in the entire world. He has written Wilmington's guide to the Bible, among other books.

I knew Dr. Willmington's mom back from our church when I lived in Illinois. I stayed at his place when I came for my campus visit when choosing a college. He's a great guy and some of you may recognize his wife as the longtime deaf interpreter in the corner of the screen on the Old Time Gospel Hour.

Congrats to Dr. Willmington for the well deserved honor.

I was in an intensive of his and he told us one night at 3 am he couldnt sleep so he decided to summarize every paragraph in the Bible..... at 3AM Anyway I have all of his stuff on the gospels and its absolutely amazing how thorough he is.
