Also, just a note to any lurkers out there who are new to campus, there is no stop sign in on the main road by Chapel Dr. There's no reason to stop there unless you are turning yourself. It's not a four way stop like other places on campus. This is a common misconception that happens to a lot of people.

An additional note: The guard shack is not the Visitor's Center. You do not stop there to ask for directions, even if there is someone inside. That entrance is already somewhat of a bottleneck at certain times, we don't need you corking it up.

An additional additional note: There are speed limits for a reason on campus (as opposed to off-campus, where they just seem arbitrary). There's a blind spot coming out of P1 across from the prayer chapel, so slow down and watch for anyone who might not see you coming as they pull out onto Uni Blvd.

Pedestrians are fair game.

I was walking to the bookstore on Thursday to pick up a couple things and you have no idea how many kids asked me for help in finding their FRSM classes. (I actually had a pack of kids from the band I took to the computer lab on Wednesday). I even had a few folks ask if I worked at LU.

oh i believe it. we had a group walk into the bookstore, look around with a stupid look, and say "is there where I'm supposed to buy my books?"
i was thinking... "nope, this is the dining hall. here's your sign!"
