yeah- menengitis is no joke , though viral is better than bacterial menengitis. That one is a killer. Had a pt once who caught it and was dead in a day. My whole crew was on prophalactic meds for a week. Peed orange but I lived- which is nice.

some bedrest and monitoring and this kid should be fine. I'm sure he's in good shape physically, which is a big help.

good thing they caught it early- can be bad.
