I know this is borderline to post on here... but did anybody catch Shaq try to rap in an NYC nightclub over the weekend? It was really bad.. but he took some pretty good shots at Kobe... It's not the cleanest rap in the world... but here is the link...

On a more serious note

PHOENIX -- Shaquille O'Neal will lose his special deputy's badge in Maricopa County because of language he used in a rap video that mocks former teammate Kobe Bryant.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the Phoenix Suns center's use of a racially derogatory word and other foul language left him no choice. Arpaio made Shaq a special deputy in 2006 and promoted him to colonel of his largely ceremonial posse later that year.

"I want his two badges back," Arpaio told The Associated Press on Tuesday. "Because if any one of my deputies did something like this, they're fired. I don't condone this type of racial conduct."

Isn't Shaq also an honorary deputy in Bedford County, VA? I wonder if Sheriff Brown will ask for Shaq's badge back, too?

According to the WSET broadcast tonight, Sheriff Brown is asking Shaq to return his Bedford County deputy's badge.

Mike Brown announced that he will no longer be a representative of Blue Ridge Thunder. I guess that means he's wont be coming back to Bedford anytime soon.

...As a result of this event in New York, which (was) unacceptable, his unofficial association with the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is suspended,” Brown said in a news release. “His likeness, which is used by Blue Ridge Thunder, will be removed from our Web page and other documents.”

Brown said O’Neal is no longer associated with either entity.

“He made a mistake and he knows it,” Brown said in an interview Wednesday afternoon. “We can’t uphold those comments. They were unacceptable.”
